KonfliKt is a 20-year old who grew up around the commercial music scene for most of his childhood years, until he starting to listening to house music when he was 17. From there forward, his passion for music has expanded greatly. Expanding his horizons to spin genres such as indie pop/rock, house, disco, French touch, and various styles of electronic, he loves variety to keep things fresh and interesting.
KonfliKt got into his university club as a DJ at 18, and has kept going since then. He doesn’t quite have two years experience under his belt, but he has got around a few places in that short timeframe. He has played at three festivals, including Atlantic Canada’s largest music and awareness festival: Evolve. Kon has also spun alongside or opened for names such as DJ Cosmo, DJ Pump, Sonny D, and Jakt. He also closed out NYE 2009 @ the Delta Prince Edward with D.R. One from Team Canada in front of a rocking crowd of 1500+.
He regularly plays at DJ Bones’ ((Indie Pop Night)) events in Charlottetown (where he currently lives), and has also ventured to Fredericton and Moncton as a guest ((IPN)) DJ. He is currently a part of a 6-man lineup at Nightcap Neon in Charlottetown, a team of DJs that bring Charlottetown the best in electronic, indie dance, progressive, and house music. KonfliKt continues to play 1-3 shows a week in Charlottetown at various bars and clubs, filling the air with cool blends and eclectic playlists.
