SoHo Ghetto

Halifax, Nova Scotia

This 7-piece band has been experimenting with techniques that allow each of the instruments to complement one another in order to produce unique and memorable melodies. Rather than being hit with a wall of sound, the music glides around the listener allowing for appreciation of the individual elements. Backed by a killer rhythm section and 4-part harmonies, the brilliant songwriting and vocal abilities of Marc-Antoine Robertson shine through in every song.

This is music that straddles genres. It is roots, folk and country, indie and pop all wrapped into clean, punchy recordings.

Marc Antoine & The SoHo Ghetto are a band out of Halifax, Nova-Scotia, Canada. They recently released their first album “The Parisian EP” this past November 2009.
