A fiend for all things EDM, when it comes to Bangsworth’s taste in music, it’s melodically schizophrenic to say the least. Her instant love of the 1’s and 2’s, nearly 7 years ago, paved the way for a slew of gigs opening for the likes of The Freestylers, Sydney Blu, and Atomic Hooligan to name a few.
The love affair continued with opportunities to play alongside many local DJs and Producers, whom she’d spent over a decade listening to. Add to the list countless headlining gigs, from Vancouver to her hometown of Halifax and coming off of a personally huge set at last years Evolve Festival, she’s ready to slay the festival for a second year in a row this summer.
Through her signature style of genre bending, Jules has developed a seamless blend of all things electronic that are just her own. A current resident with two of Halifax’s elite bass crews, Halifield and Full Circle, and most recently founding her own weekly, I sCream Social Thursdays @ The Coconut Grove in Halifax, it’s plain to see this girl is a force to be reckoned with.
