AB Logic (Hoodfellas) & Born I Music

With 11 years work behind the turntables,and as a part of the esteemed production duo “The Hoodfellas”, Hoboken New Jerseys AB Logic has become a staple in the east coast’s electronic music scene. A versitile DJ and producer, AB Logic made a name for himself through his uprfront mixing style and impeccable set programing. The Hoodfellas dropped their debut EP “The Breaking and Entering EP” on DJ Sneak and Chuck Daniels’ Sampled Recordings in 2007 and haven’t looked back since. In the same year they earned a spot on Mark Farina’s “Live in Toyko” CD on Om Records, and (along with Danny White and Ruky of Slum Science/Hudd Traxx/The Nonbelievers) started their “Smoke City Music” record label. The Hoodfellas have since released tracks on Greenskeepers Music, Greenhouse Recordings, Chillin Music, 1200 Beats, Flatpack Tracks, Black Crack Records, and on their own Smoke City Imprint.

When AB Logic is not busy in the studio or handling label affairs his focus is Synesthesia NYC, which he kicked off in March 2006 at Miami’s WMC.

Born I Music

MC and producer Born I Music earned his hip hop stripes as a battle MC in Washington DC in the early 2000s.  After meeting up with DJ AB Logic, Axiom & Godfather Sage, Born began to cut his teeth in the world of drum n bass as a celebrated MC in the Mind Control crew.  Forming the hip hop super group Shambhala in 2004, Born helped release Shambhala’s seminal debut “The Lotus Of…” to international acclaim.  2009 saw Born I Music emerge as a solo artist, releasing a slew of mixtapes and singles at a feverish pace, spanning the genres of hip hop, dubstep, bmore club, house and more.  Born released his debut solo album “Tomorrow is Today” at the start of 2011 to further acclaim, resulting in several sponsorship deals from Heyday Footwear, Industry Made street wear, Reven/Spilled Milk (Bangkok) and Jimmy Swagg eyewear to name a few.

Fresh off the release of his new single featuring Mobb Deep, Born I Music set his sights on further expansion and influence with his upcoming EP “King of Kings”. Born & DJ AB Logic currently share CEO duties in their production imprint,G&D-New Sinatra, specializing in production, consulting, fashion and songwriting.
