Matthew Silver is a street performance artist with the focused intention of making people laugh. He has been performing on Brooklyn and Manhattan streets for seven years as a Court Jester. His intention is to make the entire world laugh at nothing, as an act of peace. He will continue to perform on the street until he has achieved his desired outcome. His work is documented and has already received major press from, Brooklyn Paper, Gothamist, Paper Mag, Village Voice and Time Out NY. He’s made appearances on MTV, NBC, ADULT SWIM, FOX, SCIENCE CHANNEL and BBC in October. Known worldwide for two viral videos, “Stop Buying Stuff, Love is the Answer!!!!!” and “Words of Wisdom from an Unexpected Citizen”
