His journey started when he attended Evolve Music Festival in Antigonish, Nova Scotia for the first time in 2010. At only 17 years of age, this was the first time he had ever heard electronic music played live; he instantly felt a draw to the beat and culture. His love for electronic music was heightened while observing an energized crowd. Smiling people were dancing, and everywhere he looked, he felt and endless sea of energy. Everyone was happy, strangers felt like friends, and the true culture enveloped him into taking this new found observance to a newly encouraged passion. This three day festival had brought forth a new purpose to which changed his life.
By January of 2013, a few more Evolve Festivals under his belt and greater appreciation for the underground culture in Atlantic Canada, brought Dustin to purchase equipment and making his new found passion a reality. In one short year of spinning beats to mastering the skill, he quickly made a name for himself playing house parties and nightclubs, leading up to the opportunity too play at a Music Festival in New Brunswick; sharing stages with Wick-It The Instigator, Udachi, and Livingstone Sound.
There is a bright future for this young passionate DJ/Producer in 2014 as Dustin sets himself ready for the up and coming festival season. His determination has sights set on advancing his skill to becoming an audio visual technician. Dustin is extremely passionate about music and live entertainment with eager energy to involve himself anyway he can.
