Mike Gleeson started djing in 1995, spinning everything from rock to hip hop to house, but was particularly influenced by the electronica of the time. That upbringing can be heard in his deep, funky, Chicago style house sets of today.
From those early years to present day Mike has been spinning in Toronto and the north eastern U.S., with Toronto residencies at: Copper, 99 Sudbury, Boa, Footwork, and now Coda.
Throwing parties under the Hustlin’ and Bounce monikers, he’s always found a home and audience for the no-attitude and no-holds-barred hedonism that is the calling card of his parties and dj sets.
Today Mike’s productions chops are getting noticed and with releases on Sonny Fodera’s Beatdown Records, there’s plenty more to come!
