Mitchell Pineo & JR Loeb are an electronic music and DJ duo from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Within their award winning DJ sets, PINEO & LOEB perform original produced tracks with live synthesizers, electronic drums and other instruments. Influenced by french-electro, alt-rock, and all the classics, PINEO & LOEB fill their music with their love of nostalgia, parties and the beach. The two first met in late 2011 and began DJing as duo while writing their own music separately, producing numerous successful remixes and original tracks between them. Sharing the stage and online charts with some of the biggest names in the industry, PINEO & LOEB have both been achieving goals, including an East Coast Music Award for Electronic Recording of the year and a #1 Hype Machine remix of Gorillaz by PINEO. Going beyond the basic DJ set, PINEO & LOEB combine their extensive love of all things music with an eclectic song selection and loads of their own productions.
