Hailing from the north eastern shores of Nova Scotia, Canada, Famba has been following a musical trajectory for most of his life. Although he never pursued a formal education in music, Famba’s draw to it (perhaps influenced by his musical family) was almost instinctive. Self-taught at guitar and drums as a youngster, he soon found himself lured to the producer chair where he could take his interest in song-writing to the next level. Quickly making a name for himself in the local music scene, he then started to produce and remix for others; leading to a remix for burgeoning Canadian group, Neon Dreams.
In little over a year, Famba has garnered consistent support from some of the biggest online music curators like Chill Nation, The Vibe Guide and Aux London and has released his originals on such esteemed labels as Armada Deep and Epic Records. His release on Epic, Vibe, has raked in over 9 million Spotify plays to date, and his latest offering, “Space” is already trending in similar fashion. His unique fusion of Electronic and Pop music is certainly making its mark with fellow artists and other labels taking note. In addition to readying a slate of material for release in 2018, Famba has recently completed remixes for Maholo and Saint Wknd.
