Halifax’s half-pint party rocker Jules Bangsworth is known for her genre-bending, crowd-pleasing style, and her larger-than-her live show energy. Since steppingbehind the decks nine years ago she’s hit the road from coast to coast, packing dance floors from Vancouver to Halifax – and opening for the likes of Freaky Flow, Aphrodite, Mark Farina, and The Freestylers. With her Halifax residencies at Onyx and the Bitter End, her monthly hip hop jam at The Company House (Queer Pressure), guest appearances at Montreal’s Bass Drive, and a win for the 2014 Music Nova Scotia DJ of Year, Jules shows no signs of slowing down her work hard, play harder ethics.
