The Light Brights

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Featured on CBC Radio 1′s Atlantic Airwaves, played on public and community radio throughout the East Coast (peaking at #3 on Halifax’s CKDU) and having just completed an Eastern Canada tour to Toronto and back, Halifax’s The Light Brights have shown that their musical stylings shine as brightly as their engaging performances and fun-loving personalities.

Feelings of freedom burst from every foot stomp, colours leap from soulful voices and powerful guitar strums; groove overflows from the bass and drums while synth keytar adds depth and texture to each song. Influenced by bands like Hey Rosetta!, The Black Keys and Florence + the Machine, hints of blues mixed with indie-inspired-rock-and-roll gets you dancing while the melodies remain in your ear long after the show is over.
