Lash Larue

Canmore, AB

Getting his start in late 1997/98 in the Rocky Mountain towns of Alberta, Lash Larue’s first gig was with Canada’s legendary deejay’s: Deko-ze. Lash was born from the infamous Canmore Crew, a group of believers that set the standard for after parties in western Canada hosting the likes of Chris Liberator, Roland the Bastard, Micro and Czech. Props to Sweet-e, Matt-b and Mel.

Since Moving to Haliwood Lash has shakin down countless clubs, outdoor events, Chinese restaurant’s basements, sketchy after hour venues (R.I.P. paradox/filter/apt.red) and has solidified his position as one of Halifax’s Classics. Sharing space with legends like Dj Dan, Robbie Rivera, Imperial Dub Tribe, Jelo and John Howard has made Lash one happy deejay.

An original Underdog resident, Lash’s musical background in piano, sexaphone and block rockin beats influenced his productions: a variety of phunkyassinfused Hard House & Breaks!! Look for Lash on www.ckdu.ca and www.soundcloud.com/deejay-lash-larue for the latest in underground house music productions!!
