DJ and event creator for over two decades and no stranger to the East Coast, Jason’s DJ roots began on the East Coast, spinning at early raves and parties in Halifax, New Brunswick and Montreal in the 1990s. Living in the nation’s capital, Ottawa since 2001 Jason is also co-creator and co-organizer of Spins & Needles, a cutting edge / DIY arts + music event that has traveled across Canada and held events in the US, UK and Germany.
Over the years, Jason has brought his brand of Funky / Deep / Jacking House to diverse venues and clubs across Canada from St. John’s to Vancouver and has also performed in Chicago, New York, Austin, San Francisco, Berlin, London UK, Glasgow, and recently in Seoul and Manila. Jason has shared events with many underground DJs / producers in the Jacking House and Tech House scenes including: Phil Weeks, Loopity Goofs, Onionz, Fred Everything, Naw, Sean Kosa, Frivolous, Leon Louder, Dave Allison, Pheek, Derick Plasaiko, and others… Jason’s first house track as part of the “Mac & Skilz” project was released on Detroit based house label Coyote Cuts this year with plans for further releases soon.
