Jules Bangsworth

Halifax, NS

A fiend for pretty much anything that makes a sound, when it comes to Bangsworth’s taste in music, it’s melodically indecisive to say the least. Her instant love affair with the 1′s and 2′s over 8 years ago has paved way for a slew of gigs opening for the likes of The Freestylers, Sydney Blu, Atomic Hooligan and Heavygrinder to name a few.

Her party rocking nature has gained her recognition with crowds and her peers alike, lending opportunity to play countless gigs from coast to coast. Coming off back to back huge sets at the infamous Evolve Festival in beautiful Antigonish, NS over the last two summers, she’s back and ready to slay the masses once again this year.

Her style has developed into a seamless eclectic blend of genre bending that is all her own which has helped garner residencies with two of Halifax’s elite bass crews, The Halifield Movement and Full Circle Events as well as her newest residency for the elite Fredericton based crew, Art of Machine.

In spring 2012, Jules started up her own bi-weekly residency out of Halifax called The Good, The Bad & The Funky which has turned into Halifax’s hottest new Saturday night EDM showcase. Added to that her monthly throwdown @ Micheal’s Bar through her other project B*itchfit Productions, her versatility is undeniable. What she lacks in size she makes up for in bass. Turn it up.
