Constantly digging through crates to fuse old school gems with the freshest club-wreckers, DJ Tex relentlessly transforms dance floors into hot and sweaty messes. As a veteran member of the infamous Halifax LIFTED Crew, and while having cut his teeth from the likes of A-Trak, DJ Revolution, DJ Vice, Fashen and DJ Excel, Tex has evolved into a dynamic multi-genre DJ with a love for his 1200’s and a heavy baseline.

DJ Tex has shared the stage with renowned acts such as DJ Premier, Marco Polo, Fatman Scoop, Skratch Bastid, DJ Babu, and DJ Dopey. As a Turntablist he has battled in multiple competitions including the DMC’s and Redbull Thre3style.

Currently DJ Tex can be found wreckin’ the dance floor at The Dome Nightclub in Halifax, Nova Scotia, any night of the week. With his massive track collection jam-packed with crowd-pleasing bangers, one thing’s for certain – always expect the unexpected.
