Colour Code

Colour Code is a 5 piece ensemble hailing from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Their music mixes big thick orchestra textures with light indie pop sensibilities. At the forefront are the girl-guy call backs effervescently telling stories as they float on top of string arrangements and driven bass. Comparisons to contemporary artists such as Stars and Hey Rosetta! are drawn from similar soundscapes, those that fit into your headphones like the soundtrack to your life, balancing musical sensitivity without being afraid to dig into a bigger rock sound. Their live performance will send you on your way with their sweet melodies caught in your ear. Colour Code is working on their first full length, currently in the studio with Colin Buchanan (Paper Lions) and sound engineer Adam Gallant (Raccoon Bandit).
