From early days in the Freetekno Toronto and surrounding electronic music scenes, Platform Shag has cultivated a taste for beats that bring people together. He was a partner in Toronto’s monthly Sweetback! nights, a regular at Teknival/Northtek, performed at the Om Summer Solstice Festival, Burning Man 2007, mixed vinyl at Subspace and The How Weird Street Faire in San Francisco and was even an avant-garde promoter, breaking new ground in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland.
