Jay Hamilton

Toronto/Regina/Halifax

Jay Hamilton has built a sound and reputation as a high-energy first generation Canadian party rocker. He began DJing professionally at the age of 14 over the past 20 years he has developed a distinctive sound that is always funky, big and bass heavy, constantly moving forward and building momentum.

Jay has graced the decks at a wide range of events, his sound catering to larger scale events and big sound systems. He has held residencies with Massive Productions in Halifax, at Reflections Cabaret, and the Evolve Festival and has played alongside many of the world’s most revered names in electronic music: Deadmau5, Tiga, Benny Benassi, The Advent, Misstress Barbara, DAVE the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Bad Boy Bill, Deko-ze, John Acquaviva, Christian Smith, and DJ Dan, among others.

Having played extensively on the Canadian circuit Jay is now based centrally in Toronto to pursue his goals as a music producer and remixer (and of course, as a DJ).
