BCos

Halifax, NS

BCos a.k.a Brent Cosgrove has been a disciple of Techno for over a decade. First as a hardcore fan following the careers of his favorite DJ producers like Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Marco Nastic, Mistress Barbara, D.A.V.E the drummer, Chris Liberator and many more, travelling the globe to attend the parties that made them famous such as Awakenings NL. I Love Techno BE. W.E.M.F and Cream CA. just to name a few..

As time passed, it wasn’t enough just to hear others mix the music he loved so much, it was time to take matters and beats into his own hands. BCos has spent the last six + years collecting the finest beats the Techno and House world has to offer, tracking labels, artists and always staying on top of the freshest releases. Constant practise and dedication to the art of turntablism paired with his ear for the latest underground sounds means one thing… Total dance floor devastation!

With gigs in the local Halifax scene at fine venues such as Reflections, Victors, The Palace, Coconut groove and many house parties, including an amazing slot at Evolve last year opening for DJ Preach, 2011 is sure to bring even more attention to this expanding DJ.

BCos wants one thing; to share his passion and hard work with the crowd. To bring the music he knows so well to the ears of those who like to get down. Rest assured when this Techno bandit steps behind the decks.. Its gonna get hot!
