Dekz is no stranger to the electronic music scene here on the East Coast. Not only has he played in every corner of the region but has also thrown down at festivals such as Future Forest, JibFest and HelmFest.
His passion for music and versatility on the decks landed him gigs on 3 Cruise Ship and opening slots for an impressive list of DJs such as Adventure Club, Kaytranada, Grandtheft, Sleepy Tom, Stickybuds, Valentino Khan, Skratch Bastid and more.
Co-owner of Halifax based Static Events, he hopes to help grow the scene here on the East Coast by bringing in artists and connecting the nightlife in different cities by hosting various events.
With a string of original tracks and remixes set to release this year, along with a number of collabs, he is definitely a local you want to keep tabs on.
