Wet Paint is a Canadian producer duo consisting of James Gaudet and Dan Shanahan.
Drawing inspiration from experimental electronic acts such as Flume, Odesza, and Keys N Krates, their melodies are layered with unique vocal collaborations and intricate synth lines in order to bring forth a new brand of bass heavy orchestral rhythms. Incorporating various musicians into their performances, the duo often utilizes a live band in order to create a spontaneous and memorable set for their audiences.
Over the past year they have been making a lasting impression in the North American electronic music scene, garnering support from such acts as NGHTMRE, the Funk Hunters, and Hermitude, among others.
