“Uplifting” and “Joyful” are the most common words used to describe Jont & The Infinite Possibility. Elements of artists you know (Bowie, Lou Reed, The Cure, Coldplay) combine with a totally original songwriting voice and a live performance experience as perfectly suited to a festival audience as it is to a sweaty, indie club.
Formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2016 by the previously solo UK artist Jont and three native Nova Scotian characters from the hard rock scene (Allan Evans, Deacon Day and Jon MacIsaac), JATIP picked up Shelder Footz along the way to provide the much needed divine feminine sparks with her keys and trumpet.
Perfect if you’re coming up, or coming down, Jont & The Infinite Possibility will wrap you in a warm bubble of loveliness and then shake you til you’re all mashed up. There will be dancing. There will be singing and jumping around – and a million beads of sweat with all the implicit rainbows that would suggest.
