Jeff ‘Jump Up’ Keddy started off in the party scene in Dallas, Texas and quickly moved across North America – Baltimore MD, San Diego CA, and Denver CO all throughout the late 90’s, then finally landed in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Throughout the last 14 years Jeff Jump Up Keddy has been showcased across Nova Scotia in venues such as Refelctions, The Company House, The Marquee/Hell’s Kitchen (resident), PVP, McNab’s Island, and The Armview. He has also been featured in fetivals such as Peace East, and The Classics.
Jeff is localy known in the scene, and has received much praise for his disco house set “Disco Dogs Vol. 1” (available on Sound Cloud), which was the first in a 3-part compilation, featuring Jacksonstrut and DVD. With more than 575 plays to date, this crowd pleaser continues to trend positively.
Jeff has been predominantly a D&B Dj for 14 years, only recently homing in on his house skills over the past two years. His D&B has evolved over the years, with old school cuts and rolling baselines intertwining with the new school dirty tech sound. He’s played alongside of and been praised by Sniper, Mystical Influence (TO, Canada), Phooka (Dallas, TX), Jeffrey James (Cayman Islands), DJ Bolivia, Jules Bangsworth, Jacksonstrut, Dono, San Miguel and Jay Byrd.
Not only has Jeff prefected his technical skills over the years, but he has learned to bring a jump up energy with him that brings crowds to their feet and beyond! Intuitive to the crowd he puts on a show that leaves the party-goer sopping in sweat and covered in pure satisfaction.
