The Montgomery St. Band is a bluegrass group based out of Fredericton, NB. Scott Michaud plays guitar and banjo. Patrick Gushue plays mandolin and fiddle. Calum Jackson plays the guitarrón. Liam Keith-Jacques plays the dobro and guitar. Everyone sings. The band boasts an impressive repertoire of old time fiddle tunes, bluegrass numbers, old jazz standards and original tunes. Stylistically, the band has remained true to old time roots whilst also incorporating jazz harmonies, blazing tempos and the dynamic energy of a full fledged jam band.
