Troy Power has worked tirelessly to pursue his DJ potential and performs weekly within Halifax and all around the East Coast. He hosts his own house music and UK bassline & garage events to help grow the Maritime community and has kept house music on the map. He is always experimenting with new sounds and provides a gravitational experience, giving the people what they want.
Throughout his journey, Power has acquired a signature hard-hitting style and has played along side producers like Chris Lorenzo, Aaron Jackson, J.Phlip, TJR, Wax Motif, The Funk Hunters, Ryan Hemsworth, Hunter Siegel, Dave Luxe, Vanic, to name a few. His sets are devoted to keeping the energy high on the dance floor and he will never play the same set twice.
He’s not just the DJ but the conductor of treble and bass. A maestro of sound that sets the tempo and guides the flooding dance floor orchestra. Troy’s early influences come from veteran house artists such as Daft Punk, Dirty Vegas, Mr. Oizo and classic 90’s hits. Now pulling much of his influence out of the UK Bass & Garage Scene, Troy combines sexy samples with rare bass lines fused with old school vibes, rap & trap influences, tech house rhythms and those heavy under your feet bangers.
