Canadian producer, AWAL’s unique blend of bass music draws on Dubstep, Trap, Hardstyle, and House, and reflects his eclectic global journey.
His first love, heavy metal music – emerges in his aggressive style, though his sound was seasoned by two years producing and performing in Korea where he brought the dance music genre to audiences hungry for this new sound. Next, came a season in Venice Beach and Hollywood, where he earned nods from the American music community.
His recent releases have gained support from major blogs and artists The Chainsmokers, Joyryde, Adventure Club, Herobust, Ookay, EDM.com and Run the Trap among many others. His debut EP, RUDE (March 17th 2017, Panda Funk Records) features heavy dubstep bangers that pulsate with his signature high-energy power. Reaching plays in the hundreds of thousands AWAL is an important emerging artist on the bass music scene.
