Upon discovering his passion for electronic music at Evolve Festival at the age of 17, Brody Reid knew he wanted to become involved in any way he could. Immediately he decided to take up DJing and he hasn’t looked back since. 2016 turned out to be BRODNCE’s break out year, playing a multitude of shows with many of Atlantic Canada’s top electronic music artists, at staple Halifax events like Home Bass and Lighthouse, as well as with international headliners including house & bass legend Chris Lorenzo.
The sound BRODNCE peddles cannot be summed up by naming a single genre, as his influences span across many different styles, pulling aspects from old school hip hop to bass & house. Expect a high energy set full of deep, lucious grooves, bangin’ bass, wonky breaks and house music with some serious attitude.
