The Tortoise, the Hare, and the Millionaire

The Tortoise the Hare & the Millionaire is a blues-rock power trio from Fredericton, NB and consists of Matt Carr on guitar, lap steel, and vocals; Ted Nicholson on drums and backing vocals; and Eric Allard on bass guitar and backing vocals. Their music draws inspiration from artists such as the Record Company, Led Zeppelin, the Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and RL Burnside, combining elements of blues, rock, and rockabilly with driving guitar solos, simple catchy lyrical hooks, and improvised jam breaks to create something distinctive, upbeat and fun!
They will be performing a special acoustic set of their usual hard-rocking blues tunes for the first time at Evolve.
