Angie Oriana Jenkins, belly dancing herbalist from Wolfville, is joining us for the 2nd time at Evolve. She was a guest dancer for Australia’s Ganga Giri several years ago & is excited this year to reunite with a musical friend, Kaminanda, who she knew when they both lived in BC. They were undoubtedly at the same drumming/dancing circles during the early part of their careers! She has taught & performed in Victoria, Salt Spring Island, Mexico, & Nova Scotia. Her performance credits include opening for Modest Mouse & dancing on stage with Delhi 2 Dublin, Dj Cheb i Sabbah, Jef Stott, & many more. She is also here as a vendor of Sister Lotus Herbal Body Care products & will facilitate a ‘Dance of the 7 Veils’ Belly Dance Workshop.
