With a background playing guitar in bands and collecting obscure music, DJing was the obvious next step. Roller found a mixing style that takes Funk, Disco and Jazz, and mixes it with the bass music of today. Influenced by hip-hops breakbeats and turntablism Lazy J Roller shows respect for what came before him while moving party rockin’ into the future. Lazy J manages the Art Party event series, a unique and interactive combination of music, art and dance. These events foster the artistic community of the rave scene while promoting Nova Scotian DJs.
