SpiraLynn is a Halifax based aerialist and owner of inesS – pole and circus studio. She specializes in flying pole, aerial hoop, and pole art balancing grace, athleticism, and risk with extreme finesse. A versatile character performer, she can deliver a comedic piece and in the next breath, tantalize audience members with a sensual aerial dance. She is always set to create magic on the stage and deliver a breathtaking aerial act, with spiraling shapes.
Her performing arts journey began as DJ Kinder – Atlantic Canada’s first female Jungalist. She traded her records in for sneakers in 2005 and spun her way into the hip hop community battling bgirls and bboys across North America. She has won regional and National Pole competitions, performed on TV, festivals, and corporate events.
Community is important to Christy as she owes much of her success to her mentors, teachers, and supporters. She is passionate about sharing and collaborating her skills and experience as a performing and teaching artist. She enjoys connecting students, professional artists, and enthusiasts alike from all arenas.
