Born in Halifax and raised in Whitney Pier, NS – Ayvery Norman (DJ Trew) is a DJ/Instrumentalist, also performing as the drummer for the Royal Kush Band. With an Old School urban flavor, DJ Trew performs across Atlantic Canada with a mix fusing old school and new school, guaranteed to get any party rocking. Trew story.
His most recent mixtape series entitled Origins & Anthems (Vol. I – VI) celebrates some of the most classic old school music, breaks and samples spanning Soul, Funk, R&B, Hip-Hop and more alongside the equally as classic songs they inspired – he will also be performing shows accompanied by a band in later 2019 performing selections from the series.
