DJ Shadow, Kid Koala, Bassnectar, Goldie, Skrillex; Construct has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in electronic music today and to top it off, he’s played some of the biggest stages too. From Osheage to IglooFest and Piknic Electronique to Pop Montreal, Construct has left no stone unturned in the Montreal music scene.
From humble beginnings in Halifax, Nova Scotia 6 years ago, he discovered dubstep and spread its gospel to the masses over the air waves of CKDU.ca 88.1FM. After two years of conquering dance floors and owning local competitions, he burned it all to the ground to move to Montreal and rise from his own ashes, bigger and badder than before. Now, as the brains and brawn behind the internationally acclaimed podcast and blog, J’aime Le Dubstep (now HighOnBeats.com), Construct still controls the air waves, hosting a weekly Tuesday night show on Dubstep.FM. If it’s no obvious enough, Construct works too much and it’s that passion which has driven him to be a definitive source of cutting edge music and please the heads to the haters, every time he blows up a party.
