Internationally known, Dj IV holds his placement amongst Canada’s most versitile, experienced & respected working Dj’s.  At a young age he was exposed to his parents record collection which has helped develop his eclectic taste in music.  Today, Dj IV is a staple in the East Coast of Canada as party goers of all kinds know him to deliver the goods when it’s go time as well as being the “go to” guy when artists need a solid backbone on stage and in the studio, as proven by the artists that he works with.

For over the past decade, IV has been busy building his name as a premier party rocking Dj who has taken his top notch turntablism skills & club mixing/remixing blends and encorperated them into a style that has proven to entertain world wide.  He’s also a patriotic promoter of the entire urban scene from the East Coast of Canada by sharing and exposing local music wherever his travels take him.  IV continues to prove in many Dj battles that there’s no question he is the hardest working Dj residing in Atlantic Canada.

After establishing himself as a crowd favorite, his presence at Dj battles was always anticipated entertainment and holding down numerous weekly residencies, this experience and his ear for technical perfection got him recognition early in his career which led him to full time stage and studio positions with local legends Universal Soul and Sony Recording Artist Classified.

With an impressive battle history and certified artists backing him up, IV started to gain nominations and awards that he continues to hold to this day, The Stylus Dj Awards, The Coast Magazine and Music Nova Scotia have all garnished IV as their “Dj of the Year” for the past 3 years running.   IV has also been nominated for 2 MMVA’s and received 1 for his contributions on “Anybody Listening” which was released by Classified on Sony Music.

He’s also been given the chance to share International stages with the likes of Q-Bert, A-Trak, Dj Craze, Roc Raida R.I.P., Dj Dopey, Royce Da 5’9″, Raekwon, Nas, Snoop Dogg, KRS-One, Maestro Fresh Wes, Afrika Bambaataa, D12, Black Eyed Peas, Pete Rock, Large Professor, De La Soul, T-Pain, Joe Budden, K’Naan, The Game, Biz Markie, Shad K,  Masta Ace, The Beatnuts, Mac Miller, Kidz In The Hall, Choclair, The Hilltop Hoods and many more.
Taking on the natural progression, 2012 finds IV in the studio a lot more these days taking on a producer/engineer role as he continues to work with Universal Soul, Classified and a slew of up & coming artists from the Halifax area under his IV League conglomerate including releasing his debut productions which feature Universal Soul, Quake, Chad Hatcher, FoFF & JRDN Croucher & Many More.  All the while keeping up with the Dj culture in today’s market, you can catch IV performing Video Sets playing your favourite videos along with your favourite jams.
