Fredericton six-piece Margo Margo has been steadily picking up steam since they formed in 2010. With the acoustic guitar as the backbone of their folk-pop sound, they gather power from a small string section, a piano, and four-part harmonies that layer each song. Drawing on experienced earned from playing festivals such as Evolve Music Festival, Harvest Jazz and Blues, Pitter Patter Fest, and NB Emerge, they will work their way up to a powerful climax, before bringing the audience gently back down to earth. With their debut album scheduled to be released Spring of 2013, this young band is ready to showcase the mature sound that they have been building up to.
