A fiend for all things electronic, when it comes to Jules’ musical style, it’s melodically schizophrenic to say the least. Known for her stage presence and versatility, it’s not unusual to hear her blend multiple genres throughout her set with infectious energy and ease. Her love affair with the 1’s and 2’s paved way for a slew of gigs, from Vancouver to her hometown of Halifax, sharing the stage with heavy hitters such as The Freestylers (UK), Aphrodite (UK), Atomic Hooligan and Sydney Blu to name just a few.
Holding residencies with East Coast bass crews Art of Machine, Full Circle & Halifield in addition to founding her own collective, Good, Bad & Funky in early 2011, Jules is showing no signs of slowing down. She holds a weekly residency at Onyx as well as monthlies at The Company House and Michael’s showcasing local and national acts.
2013 is truly shaping up to be a banner year and has seen Jules make huge strides as a Producer and DJ. She’s been busy working on a full length LP set to be released this fall with a preview happening at this year’s Evolve Festival!
What she lacks in size she makes up for when you see her live. Big bass, bigger energy and a whole lot of electronic attitude.
