GT FCKD is a musical collective consisting of three Antigonish bred DJs; Bilbo Banginz, Chairman Lao, and A.Mac. The trio, less frequently known as The Nish Mafia, have carved their name into the Atlantic Canadian electronic music scene over the past four years, originally by becoming known as the Maritime’s electro-house ambassadors, but have since branched out their repertoire to include an eclectic array of genres such as drum & bass, ghetto funk, breaks, and glitch-hop, among others.
The group has evolved from local newcomers in 2008 to three of Halifax’s next generation DJs who are helping to re-create the local scene from its old self of years past into something fresh and exciting moving forward into 2013.
GT FCKD has had the privilege of sharing the stage with international DJs Lucky Date (Chicago, IL) and King Kornelius (Victoria, BC), as well as performing memorable Sunday night sets each of the last three years at the Evolve Music & Awareness Festival, Atlantic Canada’s premier stage for electronic music.
